  1. Download the theme zip into the same directory as make-zip.php
  2. Rename it to remove everything after the theme slug so all that is left is the theme slug (i.e. delete -wpcom-1.x.x)
  3. Run php make-zip.php [themeslug]

Sure thing! The script is rather fragile, so maybe let's use this PR to track any further issues we encounter.
