Comprehensive analysis of what needs to be implemented to support
Linux and Windows platforms (both native and WSL).

Key findings:

  • Linux: ~80% compatible, mainly needs editor detection paths
  • Windows native: ~60% compatible, needs registry detection, SSH permissions
  • Windows + WSL: ~40% compatible, complex path conversion needed

Includes implementation plans, effort estimates, and code examples
for each platform.
