Security Engineering is deploying secrets detection to repositories. GitLeaks will run on every push and pull request, and send a message to a Security team Slack channel with any finings. On pull requests, the bot user will comment with any relevant findings, including how to potentially ignore any false-positives with a .gitleaksignore file.
