Hi, I am Haukur and I wrote an upgrade for Annotald to Python 3 and NLTK3 as part of an assignment in the treebank course at the University of Iceland.
As is, this deprecates python 2.7 and the current wxPython gui. But wxPython supposedly has support for Python 3.5. This also contains a preprocessing feature for parsing and preannotating Icelandic text before doing it by hand using the reynir package on PyPi.
I tested it and it works on Linux (Ubuntu 16.04) and Windows 10, but I couldn't find a macbook to test.
Feel free to merge or otherwise adapt it into the current codebase.
