Moved to C++ 17
Added std:: calls for directory creation
removed cuda requirement but cuda should still be used if present (not tested)
changed to fbx export in the .blend file because .obj seems to have been dropped in latest blender. This might be a breaking change for some but this is just an example app so it should not be an issue.
Tested on MacOS and Windows.
