Summary

  • improve ROI/OCR candidate selection and edge gating diagnostics
  • add canonical ROI window splitting and split-jitter/augmentation updates for digit training
  • add synthetic digit-section generation and mixed real+synthetic training support
  • refresh OCR/backend docs and benchmark workflow notes

Validation

  • npm run test:e2e (6 passed)
  • benchmark and ROI diff runs captured in repo outputs during this branch work
