Hi there 👋

I'm a PhD student in biomedical engineering at McMaster University in the Human Neurophysiology and Imaging lab. My work focuses on developing and applying non-invasive closed-loop brain stimulation to improve cognition in people living with dementia. I work with electroencephalography (EEG) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

About me

  • Some experience with computational neuroscience, particular Bayesian models of perception
  • Built a BCI for motor rehabilitation during my master's read more
  • Held a C-GSM during my master's
  • Transferred to the biomedical engineering PhD program at McMaster at the end of my first year as an MSc student
  • Leading the software engineering of a McMaster-backed startup - ARST | ARST won an Ontario Brain Institute NERVE award and an NSERC I2I
  • PhD fellowship from the Alzheimer Society of Canada
  • My current work is on developing non-invasive closed-loop brain stimulation using EEG and TMS to target working memory circuitry in people living with dementia
