AV-EFI: Automatisiertes Verbundsystem für audiovisuelle Bestände über einheitliche Film Identifikatoren
AV-EFI is a cooperation between the TIB, the Stiftung Deutsche Kinemathek - Museum für Film und Fernsehen (SDK), the Gesellschaft für wissenschaftliche Datenverarbeitung mbH Göttingen (GWDG) and the Filmmuseum der Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf (FMD).
The initial two-year project will develop and test a cross-institutional, web-based system with a Persistent Identifier (PID) in a central role. This system will serve to identify and link films, their versions and data objects from heterogeneous collections.
