  • Severity: MEDIUM
  • Vulnerability: Uncaught backend exceptions or specific errors without user-friendly messages would leak exception class, stack, or inner variables as part of the str(e) output in error response messages on the agents/mistral_agent/agent.py endpoints.
  • Impact: External API users or malicious actors could analyze standard error reporting responses (500) to find internal system states, file paths, or other non-intended infrastructure traces.
  • Fix: Switched to log explicitly locally, using standard error outputs, then respond with generic messages.
  • Verification: Start fastAPI standard instance and attempt a misconfiguration that will throw exceptions inside those 3 affected routes and verify their responses. Run test suites.

- Replace user-facing internal exception details in HTTP 500 error messages with a generic string.
- Record the internal exceptions via the standard python `logging` package to allow for server side tracing without leakage into external error messaging.
