WebTyper - Browser Extension

A Microsoft Edge extension that turns any webpage into a typing practice game. Practice your typing skills while reading web content, track your WPM, and monitor your progress over time.

Installation

1. Clone this repository or download the files
2. Open Microsoft Edge and navigate to edge://extensions/
3. Enable "Developer mode" in the left sidebar
4. Click "Load unpacked"
5. Select the folder containing the extension files

How to Use

1. Navigate to any webpage you want to practice typing
2. Click the Web Typer extension icon in your browser toolbar
3. Click "Start Typing Game"
4. The page will darken and show the typing interface
5. Type the text shown - green text shows what you've typed correctly
6. Current character to type is highlighted in white
7. Press ESC or click "Stop Game" to end the session
8. View your statistics in the extension popup
