ExpandableFab unresponsive after keyboard or navigation

On a screen with ExpandableFab, I encounter issues when the keyboard opens or closes, or when another page is opened on top of it. Upon returning, the first tap on the ExpandableFab becomes invalid. Adding a key causes one issue, while not adding it causes another. What should I do in this case?
