when I use perftest ,such as ib_send_bw or ib_send_lat , then returns ERROR like that:

Completion with error at client Failed status 12: wr_id 0 syndrom 0x81 scnt=128, ccnt=0

Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

do you see that for send-type only? or as well also for ib_read_xx/ib_write_xx? If it its for send type only, than it is likely that the receiving side did not pre-post receive buffers quickly enough, so the inbound send does not find a matching receive. That would be an application issue. But, I have to say, softiwarp is part of upstream Linux since 3 years. While being used as the development repo for quite some time, zrlio/softiwarp is basically abandoned and not anymore actively maintained. Best would probably be to use a current Linux distro, and take it with the siw kernel module from there. Thanks, Bernard.
