Meteor Rider + Chrome App Developer Tool

Hi zeroasterisk and all,

Have you ever tried to connect Meteor Rider with Chrome App Developer Tool?

I have tried to use it together, however it causes irregular errors. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. If you've never used that before, I will upload the kind of errors later.

I'd love to know what steps you're using to attempt to do this...

I have not, because I've never gotten the chrome packaged app working right w/ Meteor... and I've just found out that CrossWalk gives me all the same "under-the-hood" chromium functionality on Android.

But I love learning more about my options for development and debugging - let me know, when you get a chance...

Firstly, I install following tools:

• Chrome App Developer Tool on my phone
• Cordova Chrome Apps on my computer: npm install -g cca

Then, following steps:

• cca create demo
• cd demo/www
• Put Meteor App with Meteor Rider in www folder. Remember to not use inline scripts because of CSP. Put all javascript in .js files. Make a permission in manifest.json to access the server where Meteor App starts (it can be local address ip: "permissions": ["http://192.168.1.34:3000/"])
• cca prepare
• launch Chrome App Developer Tool on mobile phone
• cca push --target="ip_of_mobile_phone"
• lanuch chrome://inspect in the browser to inspect device (if no device visible, then run: adb devices in the terminal).

After the first 'cca push', app always doesn't work.
After the second, it works.
If I change something in Meteor App, it is the same, the first push doesn;t work and the second works.

So each time, I have to invoke 'cca push' twice.
Interesting, why it is like that, however it seems to be dependent on caching.
