Description
Zensical inherited Material for MkDocs' search highlighting implementation, which works good, but isn't perfect. For instance, it will not move focus to an inactive content tab if it contains a result, or expand details or annotations that include search highlights.
We created a prototype of improved search highlighting navigation in squidfunk/mkdocs-material#4125 (comment), but it turned out to be a dead end due to the limitations of Python Markdown and MkDocs.
