PDF Document Support

Use Case: Users studying personal materials in foreign languages. Teachers do sometimes want to add their own materials that they have in pdf. Also I heard other possible users ask for this.

Implementation: File upload → text extraction → interactive translation layer

Challenges:

• text extraction
• what to do if multiple column
• what to do with images in the text, etc.
