Google_AI_Overviews_Blocker works by hiding Google's AI results. This is not optimal for me, because I don't want Google to perform any AI-related search at all. I had hoped the extension would either add "-ai" into the search string or default to Google's "web" tab in the search results, but it does neither.
Here is a post which explains how to configure Firefox to do Google searches which defaults to the "web" tab, so that no AI search is done by Google at all: https://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/google-search-no-ai-overview.html
I'm adding it here in case someone else wants an extension-less way of achieving the same outcome.
