Doc for setting up geocity over HTTPS or making it work over HTTP?

Hello,

When setting up the app on a local server, I face this error when I try to register a new account:

I think it's a security issue which can be (hopefully) handled using HTTPS.

But how?

Any hints or clues on how to achieve that on a local server?

Or to make geocity work over HTTP? (but I can easily guess it's not the best idea...)
