How to use the skinbuilder

It is not clear even from the documentation how to use the generated css. I downloaded purecss marketing layout, created a new skin using the skin builder and linked the saved css file from index.html. That did not work. What is the right way to use the generated css?

Hi, I'd like to re-trace your exact steps. when you said, "downloaded purecss marketing layout" which layout was that? I see layouts called: Blog, Email, Photo Gallery, Landing Page, Pricing Table, and Side Menu.
