Suggestion: iOS app icons?

Currently, when adding YTm15 to the Home Screen on iOS, the app uses the Android app icon. This looks quite strange and is inaccurate to real YouTube. It would be cool if the app icon was somehow configurable (maybe through the new “Install YTm15” tab added to settings in legoskid’s pull request). You would be able to use the 2013 (dematerialized UI), 2015 (default UI), or 2017 (new logo) icon.

2013 (dematerialized)

2015 (default, would recommend finding in higher quality)

2017 (new logo)

If this is impossible please close this issue.

I'm not quite sure how the "Install YTm15" thing works on legoskid's pull request, but thanks for these. I'll look into modifying the icons when I know more about how that works. The reason YTm15 uses the Android icon was because it was made with Android in mind

So it would be possible if you can somehow make the favicon configurable? One way I can think of doing this would be to make a stub URL that has an alternate favicon that redirects to the main /app site. It would make the load times slightly slower but I don't know if it would be too noticeable.

If you're talking about the home screen icon, it's not the Favicon. If I remember correctly, the manifest file decides what image to use for the App icon. If I can configure it to be changed, I'll make an expflag
