Project: UniShield (Privacy-Preserving Compliance for Uniswap v4)
Overall Experience: Developing with iExec was a super nice experience. The combination of off-chain privacy and on-chain verification was exactly what we needed to build our compliance layer.
- Documentation & Evolution: The documentation is excellent. We were especially impressed to see that our feedback from ETHrome was taken into account and actually implemented. It feels like the platform is evolving with its developers.
- Support: The team is incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we hit a blocker.
- DataProtector SDK: The abstraction provided by the SDK made encrypting user data on the client side seamless and intuitive.
- Testnet Instability: We occasionally faced downtime with the Workerpool or issues downloading Task Logs.
- Note: While this was frustrating during a hackathon crunch, we noticed these issues were resolved very quickly by the team.
iExec provided the critical "Trustless Privacy" layer that standard oracles couldn't offer. We really appreciate the team's dedication to improving the documentation based on previous hackathons.
