meld / dehesselle-meld problems installing with homebrew

First tried upgrade / install meld on Sonoma-14.6.1.
After reading a thread from 2024 here installed dehesselle-meld.
Parts of meld were installed but uninstalling fails too.
Reasons for both install / uninstall seem to have the same cause.
Does someone have an idea about what to do next?
