SlickR always insert image into html

Hi,

When using Rstudio to knitr an html, slickr always insert the images within the document even though I configure the document not to do it. At some point I thought I found the problem, a bug coming out when the address of the image was of some style but I don't recall what was it.
Has anyone else reported something similar?
