Record pause/start services

Hi, thanks for a great project.

We are using fancy bag record for a data capture vehicle. We would like to pause recording when the vehicle stationary. Would it be possible to add a service to the record node to pause / stop recording and then start it again?

Our current plan is to have a node that kills and restarts the fancy bag node but if fancy bag can handle this natively it would be more elegant.

Hey, this is already implemented (although not documented). There are start and stop service calls available. Together with the --paused flag they should do what you want :)

I'll leave this open until I get around to documenting it.

Hi, thanks for your quick reply. That is amazing, just had a play with it using rosservice and it works great. This will work well for our use case, thanks again.
