Different color type

It would be nice, to have an alternative really future proof color type for brandcolor (do we have more things that have colors?)

I would expect oklch, to give the best results here and be future proof for the next decades.

This should also help with finding colors for text, to work on top of those colors.

What's wrong with the current RGB(A) color codes? I'd not be against this, but the backwards compatibility break would likely be immense - oklch looks complex and I don't know how widely it's actually supported (outside of CSS...).

I can't speak on most things outside of css.

There are colors, that you can't express with it. Especially with newer displays, and it likely will only get worse. Oklch should be future safe in that regard to the best of my understanding.

And it's (waaay) easier to work with, if you have the basics down.

It would also help with being able to remix branding colors, to maybe do a gradient with the background color and a color rotation/different hue, that's predictably near the original color. Things like that get way easier with these new types.
