Latest FW not compatible / SDS150

I understand the latest FW from Uniden renders OpenScanner (O/S) unusable. Has anybody else experienced this? Is there a workaround, other than reverting to a lower FW?
On the same note, will O/S be able to be added to the SDS150 series for successful decode?

Are you talking about the 436 FW from Uniden?
About a week or two ago JD released his Firmware that includes Uniden's latest update for 436.
It works fine for me.
You need to flash JD's latest firmware. Not Uniden's.

A bit confusing, so don't update FW from Uniden, use JD's instead, or is JD's latest FW compatible with the latest FW from Uniden?
I have intentionally not updated FW from Uniden in case OS doesn't work anymore

Are we talking about 436 and only 436?
If so, AFAIK, JD's latest firmware (https://github.com/x27/openscanner/releases/tag/v1.99.42) from about 2 weeks ago already aligned and incorporates Uniden's latest update (https://info.uniden.com/twiki/bin/view/UnidenMan4/BCD436HPFirmwareUpdate).
So no need to update your 436 via Uniden.
Update your 436 with JD's latest firmware that already includes the "improvements" from Uniden.
After you update with JD's firmware, you will see that your Uniden firmware is the latest (via Menu > Settings > See Scanner Information > Firmware Version)

I am referring to Uniden Scanners; SDS100 & SDS200, and in the near future, the SDS150

Till JD will answer by himself, I think the official answer is according to this:

"Custom firmware 1.99.41 does not support SDS100/SDS200 subprocessor firmware 1.03.15 and above."

Apparently the SDS150 isn't going to be able to be used with the OpenScanner software, as the first revision of firmware will be higher.
I hope this can be rectified soon.
Curious if Uniden intentionally blocked OpenScanner with a FW revision

I hope that OpenScanner will be released for the SDS150, but that will only be next year and provided that it is possible both in terms of software and hardware.

Uniden has not taken any action regarding the OpenScanner firmware and its users.

If I were to successfully bring my SDS150 firmware down to the newest version that OpenScanner last worked with, what are the chances OpenScanner would work with it? If I could be given some trial keys to test it with, I would gladly report back with my findings.

The probability of updating is 0% because there is no custom firmware for this scanner model, and it will not be compatible with any other model.
