How to build for linux (Latest Version?)

So I am not really familiarizer with package managers and how to build this stuff, so I know I need certain dependencies for it that you install with yarn, but what are they and what versions? Also how do you properly build it? I have downloaded 0.3.6 (The Tarball from the releases page) and am having multiple errors that lead me to believe I have no idea what I am doing.
