Writing directly to configuration metadata #64
Description
Sometimes it's useful to have metadata that is globally accessible, but you might need to run a node to determine some elements of the metadata. We should add a method to the configuration object which allows to adding to the metadata directly, rather than forcing the user to implement their own methods.
This could be ported to primrose as well.
