To vote for the wikipedia board you need to make a certain amount of edits. someone like russia or china could easy hire people and make them have multiple accounts which will give them multiple votes. using stuff like AI or chatgpt makes this even cheaper. the people voting should only be people who donated like on codeberg. maybe even having something like real election where only people in free countries can vote after there ID is checked. this could be experimented with by creating a fork of wikipedia and seeing if the fork becomes less anti western.
