Thanks @bufferclip, I will have a look at Github Pages and how to use it soon. For the time being, I just uploaded it here: http://whisperingpixel.earth/talking-map/ to show an example.
I will also publish soon a real-world example. It is the actual application, from which I carved out this as standalone open source project.
