Generate migration files with cli

Currently I see that the migration files have to be created manually, I'm not saying this is wrong, but it's a bit tiring to be naming the files and always putting the initial file structure for the migration.

It would be great if cli could generate these files with everything needed to start creating the migration.

I 100% agree, this is definitely on the road map of things to come. It hasn't made it into welds-cli yet, but it has on my upstream project gumbo. That project is geared more for web development, but the migrations and model generators are stand alone and should work just fine on most projects. I think you can expect something like this on welds-cli in the somewhat near future.

@lex148 Thanks, I wanted to ask one more thing about cli, I see that the generate command recreates the files, what happens with the hooks that we put in the models? Actually they are lost because the file is recreated. The generate command is only made to be used once? I don't understand.

The welds-cli program splits the models into two files. one that is auto-generated, and one for your modifications. This is unnecessary and confusing. I think this really might need to be the next area for improvement.

You are correct the CLI does not respect and remember your hooks. That needs to change
