YoutubeRenderer in 2.1 unnecessary?

Typo3 uses the nocookie url from youtube for embedded youtube videos, and should never set cookies. Because of this, the data-src for the iframe would actually be unnecessary?

I have the problem that I have a multipage setting and i use we_cookie_consent only for one of the pages, but videos would not be displayed on any of the other pages either.

It would be great if there was a switch where you can toggle the youtube-handling off completely. Was upgrading from TYPO3 8 to 9 and it drove me nuts that suddenly the YouTube Videos were not working anymore.

unfortunately just using the nocookie url does not make your site GDPR compliant. You're still sending your users' IP Address to YouTube by making them load the iframe. Not to mention, the nocookie url may not set cookies. but it does effectively set cookies by storing them in local storage instead. (not as drastic as cookies, but still not good)
