long excerpt in backend posts list

Hi,
I like to use blankslate!
One kind of issue are the long excerpts in die posts list, not in the pages list. I tried to shorten it in various ways but then the links under the excerpt are stripped, too. The excerpt seems to be attached directly to the_title, so I don't have a hook to handle them.
Can you give me a hint?

You could try using CSS instead of PHP, something like:

.post .entry-summary p {
	max-width: 300px;
	text-overflow: ellipsis;
	overflow: hidden;
	white-space: nowrap;
}
