How Can I Run the Webcaster on my Ubuntu 20.04?

Hello,

I need help to deploy this webcaster on ubuntu server.
For all i can see is a Makefile, which i also install make command om the server but i do not understand how to get the project up and running.
I am still not familiar with cofee script but i can lean.
I have seen how to test the webcaster but i need it to be on my host server.

Hello my friend. below the steps that I perform to use this code:

1. Install a nodeJS server.
2. Install Liquidsoap.
3. Put the files of Webcaster in your Webserver (I used Nginx)
4. Create a liquidsoap file "webcaster.liq" with the example that appear into the Wiki and run (liquidsoap /home/user/webcaster.liq)
5. Open your Web browser and try connect the WS instance.

Check the logs and play with the liquidsoap parameters: "input.harbor" to receive the data from Webcaster and "output.icecast" to send the data to an IceCast server.
