Org-mode File not rendering

Hi, there seems to be an issue with some org files not rendering correctly. GitHub support directed me to open the issue here.
It seems that the following file is not rendering correctly.

The rest of the org files in that repo do in fact render correctly. I speculate that the presence of VimScript is fooling the rendering engine in some way.

This is a weird issue!

No problem rendering on GitLab.com

The problem seems to happen on GitHub only when you have these exact strings in an org file

" vim:ft=v

or

" vim:ft=vim

This can be confirmed using the preview button when adding a new org file to a repo in GitHub

Oh that's interesting! That's the vim mode line which is used to override vim settings when it loads the file. Super weird...
