Auth error when attempting to update ESM packages

So I got the following error today when I tried to update using sudo nala upgrade

but immediately after when I did sudo apt upgrade it downloaded the packages successfully and installed everything

My Ubuntu Pro subscription was active and everything was in order, unsure why this happened
