Specify other `SPLITAT` than the default with the action

Is there a way to specify SPLITAT= when using the action? For instance I'm trying to use SPLITAT=subsection, but not sure how I'd do this apart from manually tweaking the GNUmakefile.

For now, GNUmakefile is the only configuration file (and it's finally documented as such). I am considering adding an args option to the action for adding command line arguments to make, making e.g.

args: SPLITAT=subsection zip

possible.

That would be useful, I think! For now, I'll configure it manually in GNUmakefile and use replace-bookml: false to avoid it being overwritten.

I am 99% confident that GNUmakefile will not be overwritten even with replace-bookml: true. I hope I didn't get that wrong!
