Feature Request: Static SDL

Hello, nice job. Would you consider offering the possibility to statically link sdl to the binary ?
Maybe its but I'm missing something.

I can't promise anything but it should be possible - or at least easier with SDL2, see for example this SO answer.

I'm not sure how recommended it is to do on Linux but that's another topic.

I hope to get some more time for V soon to test something like this out
