I am using Vaqua latest version in a Java 11 project

'org.violetlib:vaqua:11'
'org.violetlib:vaquaclient:1'

There are some problems in connection with Vaqua
Sub JpopupMenu is not displayed
Crash in Native when switching between Dark and Hell mode at runtime.
and some other small problems

The latest version of Vaqua 11 from Maven Repo is from April 2023.
Is it possible to send me a preview version higher than version 11 as a jar for download.

Very little has changed since VAqua 11, nothing that would fix the problems you describe.

Crash in Native when switching between Dark and Hell mode at runtime.

My error analysis came to the following result :

The logs show that the system appearance has changed from NSAppearanceNameDarkAqua, indicating the switch to a dark appearance. An attempt was then made to propagate the window appearance change to an AWT Window component. However, an undetected selector error was detected. The error message states that the NSTaggedPointerString does not recognize the "jObjectWithEnv:" method.

Is there a solution for this problem or have I not configured correctly?

I am currently using this OpenJDK 11 with JavaFX

/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/zulu11.64.19-ca-fx-jdk11.0.19-macosx_x64/zulu-11.jdk/Contents/Home

I found out more.
The error occurs when I start in dark mode and switch to light mode at runtime.

However, if I start in light mode and switch to dark mode at runtime, the error does not occur.
and later I can also switch back and forth again and it works.

My assumption is that perhaps if I start in dark mode, something is not initialised correctly.

I have duplicated this problem in zulu-11. I do not experience a crash in Oracle 11.0.2, but dark mode is not supported. It seems to work find in Oracle 14. I will first switch off the automatic switching and always set it to light mode.

or
-Dapple.awt.application.appearance=NSAppearanceNameAqua

Later migrate to OpenJdk 18
