USD doesn't seem to contemplate interactivity very much, since most change seems to take the form of deterministic animations. What are some of the good ways to add interactive elements to the world, and how do they interact with the scene? Is it with a layer? And how does that translate into runtime?

Additionally, can ECS be structured well to fit within the confines of USD?
