xxx.ui.xml is not in GWT client package

Can't open xxx.ui.xml file with designer. error message is "xxx.ui.xml is not in GWT client package"

?? .. can you tell me more about this problem.

step 1:

play new gwt2test --with gwt2
cd gwt2test
cp $GWT_HOME/validation-api-1.0.0.GA* lib/
play eclipsify

step 2:
open eclipse
import gwt2test project
open app/client/Application.java with GWT Designer
then i can click on Design tab, and it 's working

Try this.

if it's not working, give me wich version you use for play, play-gwt2, eclipse, gwt Google Plugin.

eclipse:Helios
gwt sdk:2.1.1 or 2.3

please update your Google Suite Plugin to version 2.4.0.rc1_r36v201107221751

I remember a bug with App.gwt.xml in the default classpath with older version of gwt plugin

Yes, I have been update gwt google plugin for eclipse, current version is 2.4.0.r36v201108301710, but still not working.

You means open a java file with GWT Designer?
My problems is can't open GWT UIBinder file. It's have two file, xxx.ui.xml file and xxx.java.
