OSX Release downloads windows files?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but when downloading the OSX release there are .exe files inside, which are obviously not readable on MacOS. I decided maybe they're intended to be used with crossover Mac or parallels, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I did not manage to make the linux version work either, but maybe it's GPU incompatibility.

This is because the CI still runs on a windows machine, and Smithbox uses a platform-agnostic target framework. The windows, linux, and osx configurations only change what code is compiled. The build does include a platform-specific executable, depending on what platform it is built, but it's only a bootstrapper that conveniently allows users to run the self-contained build without installing the .net runtime. Any platform should still run Smithbox with the .net runtime installed though, by running dotnet Smithbox.dll in a terminal – so long as the platform target was correct, which it seems it isn't in the release, for some reason. You would need to build the current version yourself, so with the .net 9 sdk installed, run dotnet build Smithbox.sln -c Release-osx. Though, there are still some graphics compatibility issues that vary depending on your setup. For further compatibility, you can build the version in PR #351, by downloading the source code and running dotnet restore src/Smithbox/Smithbox.Mac.csproj; dotnet build src/Smithbox/Smithbox.Mac.csproj -c Release --no-restore /p:SolutionDir=$(pwd). This will require having Xcode or Xcode Command Line Tools installed.
