"mkdir: No such file or directory" when calling vale sync

I'm trying to use the new package feature.

I create a .vale.ini file in the top folder of my project with content:

Packages = Hugo

Then calling vale sync. But I got mkdir : no such file or directory error message.

I also tried with Microsoft and my own zip file https://github.com/redhat-documentation/vale-at-red-hat/archive/refs/tags/v143.zip insteafd of Hugo. it leads to the same error.

I'm using Vale 1.20.0 on Fedora 36 installed through the dnf package manager

Any ideas on what is the reason or how to investigate?

found out. it seems we must provide a styles folder.

So adding something like: StylesPath = a/path/to/an/exisiting/folder
i will report an issue to provide a more explicit error.
