Prepare new major version without Bower and IE11 support

Description

1. Consider removing support for IE11 and iOS 10 which are no longer supported by latest platform.
2. Consider removing bower.json and creating a version that is only published as ES module.
3. Create new default branch to either next or main and prepare 3.0.0-alpha1 release.
