The installation guide should be extended to include the command line arguments required to install (such as the submodule stuff).

I believe a technical report is in order for CD.
This went through changes and it'd be good to have a document that is up to date.
This week i was on the phone w/ people from Simulia (Abaqus) and they wanted to arrange for a meeting to talk about CD. A document like this would be handy since we can point interested people to it for details.
