Groups 2: sorting of list of groups is broken

Describe the bug
When trying to select the 'sort by: most recent' option in Groups, it fails to change the sort mechanism

Include a screenshot or stack trace if possible.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '~shiphost/apps/groups'
2. Click on the group ordering dropdown
3. Select Recent
4. See nothing change

Expected behavior
I expect the long list of groups to which I am a member to change to some other sort mechanism related to 'recency'.

• Device: M2 MacBook Air, ship running locally
• OS: macOS

• Groups Version: o27h5

Additional context
I've got a lot of groups, and a large chunk of them have not migrated yet, so that could be gumming things up?

Oddly, this was happening to me for a couple hours (update came through around 12:00am, I first launched the UI at around 7am) and then simply resolved itself / started working as expected.
Perhaps there's some backlog of "newness" that is being chugged through and the sort doesn't work until that completes?
