FEATURE REQUEST | Choose specific apps

It would be an extremely useful feature as im noticing that the visualizer activates whenever my friends are yelling at me in Discord but my music is at a comfortable level.

I know someone else in the forum asked to exclude apps, but I feel as if being able to choose specific apps (eg. Spotify, Browser) would be a lot less complex.

I agree, I'd like to be able to just choose Spotify. I don't like that it shows YouTube videos or other media that are playing in my browser.

I would like to note that you can easily exclude your browser from using SMTC (Windows Media Controls/Overlay) at all. That's what this program relies on to be able to see and control the media it displays, so if you disable it, the program won't pick up anything in the browser.

How to do that will depend on the browser itself; for me, I use Firefox, and in about:config (just type about:config into the browser address bar) you can set media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled to false.

For Chrome/Chromium based browsers, you should be able to go to chrome://flags (or brave://flags etc, again, just type it in the address bar) and disable "Hardware Media Key Handling" and that will achieve the same thing.

As for the sound visualizer, that seems to be triggered by all system sound, so I'm not sure there's a way to make that only pick up media sounds, for now, without manually editing and compiling the code yourself.

This one unfortunately makes it so your media keys do not work, which is a big downside for me personally. I would also love to have a process filter within the settings so +1 on this request.

yeah man i also want any one or two specific apps to be displayed on the player such as discord and spotify which can help me in various situations and i hope you would add this feature soon .... Btw great software and smooth and sleek
