"Dead End" situation:
The note to just double click on text “in search” is helpful, but this seems always confusing to me that I can not start right away under the “annotation” menu without prior choosing an text in the “search” menu.
Some ideas:
- Put some tools / features of "analysis" here (like code frequency, word frequency etc)-
- When you have already annotated some of the documents of a big corpus, it would be helpful to see at least a list with all already annotated documents here. --> I know you can filter these texts out in the “search” function, but all roads lead to Rome - due to this function is often used, it could be pop up in several places, too
- Or you just jump into the last edited text tab (in case you've already annotated some texts)
- Reverse Search inside Annotation-Tool:e.g. choosing one or more annotation codes and let me show all of the documents listed on the right, which contain this particular code and pick a text from this new filtered list to look into it
