Mp4 Video Animation render doesn't work

Infos on the context

• Add-on version: 2.1.46
• Blender version, from installer or from zip: 3.6
• Blender was launched in Admin mode? No
• OS: Windows 11

Describe the bug
It won't output the render as an mp4 file, maybe I'm doing something wrong but I've tried various render settings even changing the Output settings to Mp4 but it keeps resetting it to png when I hit render. I've tried with all both options; "Render Shot", "Render All" but it keeps resetting and outputing to png which is not ideal because I want to quickly render in eevee and preview my progress

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Setup up your shots and camera durations
2. Change your output settings to MP4
3. Click on render current shot/ render all
4. It resets the output settings from mp4 to png

Expected behavior
Render to an Video MP4 file so I can preview my animation
