Hello,
you example is not good:

$registry = new CollectorRegistry(new ApcuAdapter());
$registry->createCounter('requests', [], null, true);
$registry->createGauge('traffic', ['endpoint'], 'Active traffic per endpoint', true);

Second line should be:
$registry->createCounter('requests', [], null);

$registry->createCounter('requests', [], null, 'prefix', true);
