Dear professor, thank you for your excellent paper. I am very insterested in the contrast guided approach. Does if suitable for the non-uniform illumination Images, especially near the strong artificial light source. Would you mind introducing some valuable advice or paper on this issue ? In addition, when constructing the dark channel prior in the luwe_input.m, I am a little puzzled about the following code :
% select the ideal patch size for this particular pixel (based on the CCI previously calculated)
prange = CCI(i,j);
prange = 8-prange;
Why use the last line " prange = 8-prange" ? looking forward to your help .
